Rhona Lichtenwald is frequently hired by legal organizations to design and present trainings, workshops and webinars on various legal topics. As a former professional instructor at the Law Society of BC's Bar Admission course (Professional Legal Training Course - PLTC) for 10 years, Rhona has the knowledge and experience to research, create, design and present a wide range of courses.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
The Law Society of BC requires all lawyers practicing in British Columbia to complete 12 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each calendar year. At least two of the 12 hours must pertain to any combination of professional responsibility and ethics, client care and relations, or practice management. Rhona designs and presents a full range of CPD courses for legal organizations and can create customized courses for your law firm.
Legal Presentations, Webinars and Workshops
Rhona is a skilled presenter and workshop facilitator. She has created and presented "lunch & learn" seminars, interactive workshops, lectures, webinars and skills-based educational courses. Her audiences and learners have included: lawyers, mental health professionals, law students, paralegals, legal advocates, legal intake workers, immigration workers, domestic violence workers and the general public. Rhona has provided trainings for organizations such as the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC, the Law Foundation of BC, the Legal Services Society of BC, the Canadian Bar Association BC Branch and others.
